Position: Service Technician

Position Overview:

As a Hydroblasting and Industrial Vacuuming Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in our operations, executing high-pressure water blasting and industrial vacuuming services on various industrial sites. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and performing efficient cleaning tasks to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness. You will work closely with our team, utilizing your expertise and technical skills to deliver exceptional results to our clients.


Normal Working Hours:

Work shift is typically scheduled for daytime hours. These hours and scheduled days are subject to change based on business needs. Notification will be given in the event of any change or variation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute hydroblasting and industrial vacuuming activities in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Lifting heavy objects, painting, and cleaning
  • Operate high-pressure water blasting equipment, nozzles, and hoses to remove debris, coatings, and contaminants from surfaces, tanks, pipelines, and other industrial structures.
  • Utilize industrial vacuuming equipment to extract, contain, and dispose of various waste materials, such as liquids, solids, and sludges.
  • Conduct inspections and routine maintenance of hydroblasting and vacuuming equipment to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any operational issues.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and follow proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols to minimize risks and hazards during work.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan and organize work assignments effectively, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Record accurate data, including work performed, equipment usage, and project details, for reporting and documentation purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or questions promptly and professionally.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge through training programs, workshops, and staying updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Additional technical certifications or vocational training in hydroblasting, industrial vacuuming, or related fields is a plus, but we will train the right candidate.
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Class A CDL preferred, but potential to train.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing work environments and conditions.
  • Ability to work in physically demanding conditions, including but not limited to confined spaces, heights, and exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with clients professionally.
